Short

Have not been writing in my blog for like ages..
And I know its kinda disappointing to some of my friends..
Like as if my blog is actually dying and soon-to-be not visited and unlinked.
This is going to be a short post too as its like 3am now! Goin to hit the sack in a few minutes.
Semester has ended. Shortened the story it was not a good one. But aint going to talk about that for now. Maybe in another post.

Just browsed through some photographs taken on Grandma's birthday which I did not attend. Grandpa had this picture which was so cute. With his hands waving 'HI'. To be honest I actually miss this two grandparents of mine. When I was a kid, I used to stay in their room watch tv and eat biscuits which granny prepared. Now all this moments are just deeply missed. I'm no longer a kid anymore and my grandparents are growing very much older. =(

I came upon this picture of my granduncle the sixth. He was with his famous smile with his long long white beard! Wise old man from China! Hehe! He writes books and is great in Chinese literature. Admire him a lot and feel so low when with him because I'm a Chinese too but I cannot do the same!

But that was not what that really strike me. I felt a sudden sadness in my heart. Granduncle has just lost the one he most loved in his life. He lost his angel, his partner, his other half and the mother of his children. I cannot imagine how hurting that feels. The other half of you just ripped and taken away from you forever. I cannot help but tear when it comes to situations where you lose a dear one. I remember when I was half way through my books and got a message from Mama that my grandaunt just passed away. I could not believe it. I knew she was sick but I thought she should be getting better with the treatment she was getting from the hospital. Seems like I was wrong. Now I'm never going to see her again!

I cannot help but worry. Ah Kong, Mamah and Popo are all growing much older. The year just passes so quickly..The new year is coming again..

Lord, please prepare my heart for the things You had in plan for all of us. Protect us from all possibilities of hurtfulness and pain. Help me be obedient to Your words and Your purpose for me in this life. May everything that happens in my life be in accordance to Your will. Amen.

Semester

MANDY’s Curtin University Engineering Foundation Year 2007

I thank God for every second of my life and admit my failures for every milliseconds of it. The semester for me was bittersweet. It begun with two weddings! Karen and Byron’s and Lee Fah and Matthew! The weddings twas so beautiful. Well, of course it was! It was heaven on earth for these two wonderful couples. ^^ Everyone was so happy and touched by the love life that they shared. Now I’m hurrying myself to get a boyfriend! Haha! Just kidding!`

After that was all fun with my amazing housemates and neighbors! We celebrated Chap Goh Meh and invited all the new students which are our friends now to our lovely home. It was great although I was out most of the time. Seeing those happy faces and how they bonded really well that night wiped away all my sadness and envy for not being able to be there.

Had a really bad gastric that night. Happy mood all swept away. Kept tearing. If not mistaken, it was the most painful one I’d ever had. Thank God it’s over! Sorry guys for spoiling the mood.

As for VCF, we had our first meet at Alice’s Farm. Was my first time there, it was a nice cozy farm with a small lil river. Oja, Fred, Rob were not there for they were on a mission trip. Deeply missed them! Eventually I had fun in the end, met new amazingly wonderful people. Was getting ready to head home, dry and clean..

Despite the funs that I had, there were also the downs. I wish not to mention about it anymore but I thank God that we are all still good friends. And things not only have changed but it had changed to the better! As times goes on, I pray that the friendship we have grows stronger each and every minute of our lives! Love you!

To cut everything really really short now… I know that this semester I have been joining more activities than spending time on books. And it showed in my results I have this semester. But again..

I PASSED ALL MY EXAM PAPERS! ^^

It may not fully satisfy me but it was my own choice and fault. And this consequences I have to bare it myself. Again Praise God for the wonderful semester!

The adventures I have not mentioned, will write about them when the blog buggy bites me! Heeeeeeee!! =P~
