Bumps I failed to swerve..

Saturday, August 22, 2009

I've finally took up the courage to write this post after such...

The unpredictable life.

Was all excited and happy about the holidays in July..

Never knew things could turn out like this..

My heart rose so up filled with so much happiness.. and contentment for life..

Love surrounds me. And I know I love them with all my heart..

God. Family. Lover. Friends.

But... the unpredictable happened.

Goodbye Grandpa.. I love you so much. I'm sorry. :(

I was just one day late to see you..

I was just one day late to hear your voice..

I was just one day late to feel your hands..

I was just one day late to enjoy your presence.. *tear*

When I finally accepted that I wouldn't be able to see you again..

Memories of you flashed back.. I am proud to have you as my grandpa.. Rest in peace Ah Kong~

Things were alright soon.. Nick was with me.. And he was there to cheer me up..

Days passed... my dear said goodbye.. *tears*

And I had to say goodbye my lover.. I have loved you will all my heart and always I will...

You will always be my friend. And I will always be here for you..

Sent you off at the airport.. Hope you know its not easy for me..

See your face in my mind as I drive away cause none of us thought it was gonna end that way.
People are people and sometimes we change our minds.
But it's killing me to see you go after all this time.

Music starts playin' like the end of a sad movie, it's the kinda ending you don't really wanna see.
Cause it's tragedy and it'll only bring you down, now I don't know what to be without you around.

And we know it's never simple, never easy.
Never a clean break, no one here to save me.
You're the only thing I know like the back of my hand, and I can't breathe, without you,
But I have to, breathe,
Without you, but I have to.

Never wanted this, never wanna see you hurt.Every little bump in the road I tried to swerve.
But people are people, and sometimes it doesn't work out,
Nothing we say is gonna save us from the fall out.

Sorry

I've fallen. And when would I stand on my feet again? I really don't know...

What to eat for lunch?

Why Senadin food all looks so 'sien' ?

Cannot help it ! :(

Feel its pathetic the only choice we have is either Chicken Rice.. Pan Mee.. or Chicken Rice... or Curry Chicken with rice..

And more chicken with rice and vege.... :( :( :(

On top of that, there are all so expensive! :(

Dear and I decided to have dinner at home tonight then.. To dig up anything I have in my cupboard and fridge for now.. And finish them!

So we had..... Toast with 'my own recipe' ! Since I bought bread 2 days ago..

We must finish it and not let it to waste ^^

Looks like normal roti kahwin rite? *kekeke*

How bout the inside? Let's take a peep!

" OooOo...Hmmmmmm...Oi shiiii! "

Just quoting from dear.. =P

So yea.. Now he is stuffed to the max. cuz I only ate 3 pieces.. Haha!

Few days ago, we had the same question of what to eat... so erm.. we ended up here!

McValue Lunch! Dear's favorite..!

They changed the McValue lunch menu.. :(
So in case you looking for Double Cheeseburger for yr McValue meal.....
There's no more.......... :'(
So have to settle for this... *sobs*

Closer shot of the Spicy McChicken Deluxe..

McDonalds eventually led us to check out what's showing in the cinema..

And...

I'm caught by this!~ I must watch it now now now... =P

Hi Mr. Tom Hanks! Looking worried there.. >.<

So yea.. Someone wanted to be as 'yeng' as Tom Hanks.. So...

The photograph is self-explanatory...

So hmm right..today.. I went off topic liao..

After the last class of the day.. Went to pick up my car keys from dear.. And I was shocked..

He playing in the field liao.. So I have to wait for 45 minutesssssssssssssssss ... :'(

It's not that I dont want to watch the match he is playing..

But I am awfully tired.. So please spare me from this misery.. Wanted to take bus bus homeeee.. but then my house keys are in the carrrrrrrrrrrr.. to the horrorrrrrrrrrrr...

Maybe that's my bad habitttttttt!!

Serve me right.. :(

So my attention went from the match to these trees....my only friends for now..

There are so lovely!

Until the sun sets.. I am still with you my friends.. Tree-tree! Weeeeeeee....

Then wooshhh... we watched a lining in the skiessss...

And it was stretched out really long.. I'm standing too near it to catch the whole pic of it..

And to top my day off... Curtin Library had a Explore day.. Or what you called an Open Day, to be simple..

Games were organized by the librarians.. And it was the first time I see them so funny, friendly and interactive! Games were mostly my favorites !

They had games such as Spot the Difference.. Scrabbles.. Crosswords.. Quizzes.. and Spelling Bee! Haha! I know Spelling Bee.. very cute! But not..... It's not like those normal Spelling Bee you see on tv for those grade school kids..

It's Spelling Bee for University Students! >.<~~ I cannot remember those words anymore.. But some were.. tummulatoussss ( i dont know how to spell it), ecclesiasti ya da ya da ya da.... saccrotesanctttya da ya da ya da! I cannot remember the words if you asked me now.. But I could spell it for you when I hear it again? =P I had fun.. And the funsss led me to win these giftssss.. Never expected it! Wow!

Won a 4GB pendrive..

a 2GB pendrive and also

Curtin Diary..

Curtin Note Books and

a curtin highlighter/pen ! ^^

Thanks Curtin Library! *kekeke*

Influenza A Virus Subtype H1N1

Saturday, May 16, 2009

What's that?

I guess by now you should not ask that question....

If you actually read news or get updated with it ..or not just in case you wanna know..

written were this HEADLINES

M’sia confirms first A(H1N1) case

Malaysia has reported its first influenza A(H1N1) case involving a student who returned from the United States two days ago.

According to Health Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai yesterday,

“The student returned to Malaysia on May 13 and the next day, he sought treatment when he felt unwell. The test confirmed that he has the H1N1 virus.”

Further on, the news stated that following confirmation of the first influenza A(H1N1) case, all passengers on

Malaysia Airlines flight MH091 from Newark, United States

which arrived at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport on Wednesday are advised to contact the Health Ministry.

Personally and according to reliable sources, I heard most of them did not turn up yet. C'mon guys!

Alright, so Malaysia’s first case involved a 21-year-old male student who returned from the United States two days ago which is May the 13th 2009 and started having

fever, sore throat and body aches

yesterday, and was admitted to Sungai Buloh Hospital at 6.45pm the same day.

It was that serious that he had to be admitted into the hospital on the same day! :(

Let's pray that he survives and the doctors can give him the best treatment available in the hospital! :(

I've searched on Wikipedia for the updates of cases as of the rest of the affected countries.

Here there are:

Adapted from: Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.2009 swine flu outbreak.
Retrieved on May 16, 2009.

There were so many affected countries.. Being in an international university, what else could you think about? Aaaaaaaa.... :( :(

Maybe I should just skip class and stay in my room.. *kekeke!* XD kiddin`

But seriously.... It's possible right? :( :(

Well, just in case we need to know what are the symptoms right?

Here is what I have found.....

The symptoms seen in U.S. cases resemble those normally seen in influenza, with

  1. fever,
  2. cough,
  3. sore throat,
  4. runny nose,
  5. headache, and
  6. muscle soreness.

However, about 38% of patients had vomiting or diarrhea, which is unusual in infections with other strains of influenza.

The incubation period between infection and the appearance of symptoms is about two to seven days.

The tranmission of this disease was said to be through...

Air

There is so far little data available on the risk of airborne transmission of this particular virus. Mexican authorities are distributing surgical masks to the general public. The UK Health Protection Agency considers facial masks unnecessary for the general public.

Many authorities recommend the use of respirators by health-care workers in the vicinity of pandemic flu patients, in particular during aerosol generating procedures (e.g. intubation, chest physiotherapy, bronchoscopy).

Pork Products

Although some pigs in Canada were recently found to be infected with the new strain of H1N1,the leading international health agencies have stressed that the "influenza viruses are not known to be transmissible to people through eating processed pork or other food products derived from pigs."

Does that mean no more porky meat meat for us? *huhuhu* T_T

Let's hope and pray that does not happen!

The next time your body do not feel so well...

don't dread or fret to see a doctor the next time you catch a flu or a bad cough or worst of all a fever!

Please take care everyone! ^^

Presentation Day

Friday, May 15, 2009

Have not been into any presentation these past semester.. But just today we had one..

Let me tell you the first thing I got to know when I got into the class..

Friend 1: Hey.. Our group presentation has been postponed to next week.

Me: You serious? If he postpone our presentation today.. I will kill him!

Friend 2: Hey I heard its true. They said
today's time could only be allocated for two groups.

Me: *serious grin*

Me: Teammate.. Our presentation has been postponed again!

Teammate 1: If that is so, I definitely will hate him f
or this.

You see.. Our group presentation has been postponed three times already! And if this is gonna happen again. It would be the fourth. And I do not like the sound of it.

Lucky things turned out fine. We got to present and same with other 3 groups.

If not, things would turn ugly. We'll definitely complain this to the higher authority.

And Dr.K, you'll definitely face trouble.

You wouldnt want that on your first semester here would you? zzzzzzzzzzz

Here are some snaps of what we presented.. We talked about an industrial disaster that happened way back in 1947 in Texas City which involved a french registered vessel, S.S Grandcamp.

S.S GRANDCAMP

And because in this world, there are some people who disregard rules and regulations...

the following thing happened..

S.S GRANDCAMP (FIRE BROKE OUT)
The next thing we know....... *KABOOMED*

S.S GRANDCAMP EXPLODED

Well, that was a very brief story about our presentation...... :)

Well its, raining again. With all the lightning and thunder.... Uno is stuck again in the grill.. I came out to help her.. And asked her to go backwards...

Opened the door for her to come in the house.. Now she is sleeping beside my window...

Wondering why she so afraid of thunder.. And why wont you want your house doggie? :(

Oh ya...Here's a picture that we recently took for the Open Day Committee for Dr.Hannah as love gift...

Love it to bits! Like the edit! Thanks George!

Am glad to be part of this team.. Had really good fun and team work during that day! ^^

Raining cats and dogs

Thursday, May 14, 2009

Actually the title does not relate to what I have to say or blog about now..

It was raining early this morning..

The brightness of the lightning's bolt and the delayed-follower, the thunder roared so loudly from the skies above... Woke up me from my sleep!

Knowing that she is very afraid of when its comes to thunder.. I looked out the window to check on her.. She was wandering around.. walking up and down.. I wonder what she was doing...

I was too sleepy to wait and see what she was up to....

Checked on the clock.. It was 6.30 am only! *arghhhh*

sleep sleep sleep...

Then I heard the struck of the lightning again.. And my windows vibrated at such a frequency which makes me think this might be the first time I may get to see a storm or tornado in Miri....

*kiddin*

Again I looked out the window.. She was there...

To my realization she was trying to get into the house.. But how?? There a grill door!

No, no girl.. Please get into your own house kayy??

We have built you a house.... Hmmm..

Here is a view of my grilled door when its opened..

Look at the mesh..below the door..

to prevent her from coming in!

A closer look at the lower section of the door..

Here is the side of the door, where we put a table which obstructs the whole side area..

Supposedly our wet kitchen.. But we have removed the stove =P

The rain was gettin heavier and lightning so often as 1 bolt per minute! followed by

Lightning : *kriakkKkkkKkkkkkk*

Thunder: *trom trom trom trommmMMmmmmMmm*

Lookin out my window.. I see her staring at this particular hole at the side of the grill...

She jumped.. She climbed and and...... She squeezed through that holeeeeeeeee!!!

Aaaaaaaaaaaa.. crazy.. You are going to hurt yourself without even realizing!!

Silly!! @_@

Who am I talking about?

Sure of course.. Its my babyyyyy.. ^^

"How much is that doggie at the window? The one with the waggley tail!"

*muakkkksss* UNO! ^-^

Incidents after another

Tuesday, February 24, 2009

Apparently this is the first time I have spent my whole summer away from home and close to the four-walls-stress-loaded building. Many and I repeat many incidents happens throughout

S U M M E R .

Soon after all the students, well not all but most students left back to their hometown for the long awaited holidays inclusive with tonnes of celebrations. Robbers start hunting on their hunting ground.
OUR BELOVED DESA SENADIN!
These useless people but considered hardworking because they come out to hunt in the wee hours busted so many freaking doors and windows! And stole what was not theirs but properties of people whoms parents worked so hard earning it for.

Stop being silly stealing your own ticket to hell! And why do you want so many of them?

So you could go to hell over and over again?

or just to make sure you are IN ?

After that was the pouring rain and I mean literally waterfall! Well waterfall not everywhere but near the fuel station (SH*LL) and the hills. Water seems to be collecting and stagnant water on the soil was often the case.

What they did not know was, the soil could not hold the amount of water pouring from above! Well if you think the water falling down those rocks were cool and beautiful previously think again! Because one day if you decided to build your house on top of the hill, start worrying (or moving..... =S) when people compliment that you are so lucky to have beautiful waterfall at the foot of the hill where your house is! =P

People are naturally born to be '38' (ask a Chinese friend). Maybe you disagree with me but I stand strong on my point. Otherwise, there will not be any scientist, astrologist and all sorts. Only because you're '38' enough to uncover mysteries and solving problems, we get to own techies and fly across continents to be even more '38'! =PpPP

Back to the topic, sources from '38' people who took their nature as money-earning activity (job) helps even more the '38' community to update themselves regularly.

Sourced out was the tragic accident that happened on Valentine's Day to our friends from Curtin as well. Four involved but only three survived. Short story, the car hit the tree (don't assume it was a small car, it was not). Everyday I would drive pass that tree and say a little prayer for all the drivers out there.

Drive safe everyone! Stop rushing! Rushing just shortens your TIME even more.

Well, good news is .. everyone is BACK!

Mr. and Mrs. Robbers.. not forgettin baby robbers..you may now go back to your hiding place and start thinking how to sell those items you've stole without being caught. Trees, its time to get polutted because its roaring cars this semester!

It is the first day of the semester. ONLY. And we hear another Curtin bloodshed just houses away.

" Boyfriend attempt to murder Girlfriend "
Are you sure?
Screams. House. Blood. Locks. Drugs. Scissors
Small knife. Big knife. Wrist. Neck. Cuffs.

" You remember when we were younger, our English teacher would ask us to form a sentence with the related-words given? Well, everyone had their own version. That's all I can say "

News were on the HEADLINES. '38' community is everywhere around.

Newsflash was on rapid-fire in the whole MIRI.

Well, sources say it was not only Miri community who were talking and hearing about it but also Mirians living across countries and others who habitted in Miri before.

How did the story go? And how is it now? Find out for yourself. =P

I wouldn't want to spend my S U M M E R in Miri anymore.
LAST !!!

*sleepy day in office* zzzzzZzz

About This Blog

A place where I can share my thoughts, interests and dreams to friends and family or even strangers who stumble upon this humble blog of mine~ The title of the blog was adapted from a quote of love from St. Augustine whom once said

"Love is temporary madness. It erupts like an earthquake and then subsides. And when it subsides you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have become entwined together that is is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is.

Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the promulgation of promises of eternal passion. That is just being "in love" which any of us can convince ourselves we are.

Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away and this is both an art and a fortunate accident. Your mother and I had it, we had roots that grew towards each other underground, and when all the pretty blossom had fallen from our branches we found that we were one tree and not two."
